Finally had a chance to visit (now located on Ventura in Sherman oaks), good wings and great service. I ordered the 10 piece combo (half lemon pepper and half hot) with spicy fries ... very tasty and flavorful. I wasn't sure if I wanted to try the spicy fries or the hot wings since I'm not a fan of anything too spicy, but I'm glad I did. It was not overly spicy and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I would actually recommend the spicy fries as a must try. I can't wait to go back and try other flavors. I also would like to try their breakfast/brunch as well.
DELICIOUS!!!!! Best wings around! Great size & flavors are perfect!!!! Coming from Chicago/Peoria, IL it has been extremely difficult finding restaurants that offer great food for good prices, with a smile (or at lease a little pride in their operations) Donny's has a clean store, friendly employees & humble, community-centered owner! Im looking forward to trying out their location in Sherman Oaks!
Ordered the Fried Chicken Wings and Waffle which were perfect. Chatted with the owner who was kind and offered me a taste of the potatoes which too were yummy!
Really great wings and I love the made fresh to order style. I ordered hot and classic with the spicy fries and some ranch, everything tasted great and the wings were ready just in time to watch the Lions beat the packers!

I love Donny's! Best breakfast in Sherman Oaks at a terrific value. The chicken is delicious and the waffles are better than Roscoe's and I don't say that easily since I love Roscoe's waffles. Fast Service, great staff, fun little spot to hang out for breakfast or lunch. So glad Donny is back in Sherman oaks. Welcome back to the Valley!
2024.10-03/THU_1900: What a nice surprise! We got home late and decided to DoorDash some tasty wings. We took so much time trying to choose some affordable tasty wings. We saw all the reviews and the best prices in town for bulk wings, we decided to try Donny's. Boy, were we in for a surprise! Due to our dietary restrictions, we generally don't eat breaded wings but they only had this option available. We ordered the plain wings and the Butter Parmesan wings. Holy moly! The breading was super light and crispy. It's like they fried them in ghee or something. The breading wasn't excessive and tasted like the best fried chicken ever. You can tell the fryer oil was clean. Our wings came piping hot and the meat was tender and JUICY. I couldn't get over how the breading wasn't salty and greasy like all other restaurants. The Butter Parmesan was the same! Other restaurants drown their salty, greasy wings in their salty, overseasoned sauces. Not Donny"s! This is what they specialize in and I can say that this is their jam! Made with care. We loved every single wing. They were jumbo sized and golden brown - cooked to perfection. Best of all, their breading didn't affect our bellies. It was so light, I didn't think they were breaded. I even believe if they didn't have breading, their wings would still be mouth watering delicious. These folks know what their doing! We will definitely be back to try their other flavors! Highly recommended.
